Prototype Game Design Challenge

This is our second year in what has already been an exciting contest with many great prototype games.

Whether you are a professional game designer, an everyday gamer who has creates home-grown games, or someone who is looking to get published, we want to see what you got!

1st Place $50 cash
2nd Place $30 in Dealer Dollars
3rd Place $20 in Dealer Dollars

Prizes will be awarded on Sunday after the runoff slot.

Format:

There will be two rounds to the contest.
Round 1: All games will run on Saturday for initial judging. They will be judged by convention attendees, other GMs, and some staff.
Round 2: The top two games from Saturday will have a runoff on Sunday. The top two games will be judged solely by the convention staff and invited guest judges.

Rules:

• You must sign up to and be present to run your game at the con. See the link below.
• We are only accepting board games and card games.
• Your game must be original and not a variant of another game.
• Your game must not be currently or ever have been commercially published for sale.
  
• You must run your game at least once on Saturday for judging, and be available on Sunday to run your game again during a runoff if your game is one of the top two games after Saturday judging.
• You may if you like enter more than one game, but as separate entries.
